Have you ever known anyone who lived in the past and could not see today and all the good that was around them. I know a family member like that and it is so sad. This person is bitter and being eaten up inside because they can't be grateful for today. I want to live my life in the present because there's no going back. I was reading in one of my devotionals this morning and came across this:

"Living in the past is a dull and lonely business; looking back strains the neck muscles, causing you to bump into people not going your way."

Edna Ferber

Just a quick thought for the day. Tata for now.

I love this, Kay. Thanks for your thoughts and for the quote which appears to be borne from the wisdom of being in that place. This hit home with my heart....I will heed the message. Thank you! ♥
